Maghull Manor in Merseyside is set to be a sustainable 76-bed residential care home, using solar and air-sourced technologies to exceed minimum energy standards.
The building’s fabric will present a traditional brick appearance combined with modern render detailing at the imposing, two-storey gables.
The site is part of a wider residential masterplan which included, at granting by Appeal, full planning permission for the demolition of existing buildings and the erection of 841 residential dwellings (C3), new vehicular accesses off Poverty Lane, public open space and ancillary infrastructure.
